Prince Ananias was Victor Herbert’s very first operetta. Originally performed by the East Coast-based performing troupe The Bostonians in 1894, this production may well be the Chicago premiere of this rare work.

In this original, kid-friendly adaptation, the show has been truncated to a 60-minute version perfect for introducing young audiences to the beauty and fun of operetta!

This production will be presented in collaboration with the Devonshire Culture Center and the Skokie Park District.
